This laboratory course provides students with hands-on, structured experience operating small-unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS), and reinforces operational readiness, situational awareness, and proficiency in applying CFR14 Part 107 standards in real-world training environments. Students will practice precision flying in both Visual Line of Sight (VLOS) and simulated Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) conditions. The lab focuses on developing repeatable, standards-aligned piloting skills using recognized test methods designed for emergency response, inspection, and industrial drone operations.
