Workforce Development at Atlantic Cape offers a wide range of certificate, certification, professional, and community education training programs to meet individuals' and businesses' needs in Atlantic and Cape May counties.  Partnerships with local businesses and industry help meet industry needs for skilled workers and their employees' need for enhanced skills. Classes are offered during the day, evenings, and weekends at all three College campuses and locations throughout Atlantic and Cape May counties. Many programs are available online. Adult Literacy and Integrated Education Programs

Atlantic Cape's Adult Literacy division delivers educational services for adults who seek to enhance their basic skills. Necessary skills enhancements allow participants to move into employment. Courses include Adult Basic Education, High School Equivalency (HSE) Preparation, and English as a Second Language (ESL). There is no cost to eligible applicants. Certificate and Certification Training Programs

Atlantic Cape offers over 40 Career Training Certificates and Certification Programs to prepare students for many career options. These programs are designed to help students obtain the skills required to begin a new career -- often in just a few short months. Healthcare, technology, hospitality, gaming, and culinary programs are available. Experienced instructors utilize up-to-date equipment to provide a well-rounded curriculum designed for success. Casino Career Institute

Atlantic Cape's Casino Career Institute (CCI) has provided training and consulting services supporting the gaming industry for over 45 years. CCI was the first licensed gaming school in the nation to be affiliated with a community college. CCI offers dealer training, surveillance, and games protection training. The Career Services and Experienced-based Learning team are prepared to assist students with assistance with resumes and interview skills. Workforce Solutions (Training Services for Business)

Atlantic Cape's Workforce Solutions Programs deliver training specific to businesses and organizations' needs in Atlantic and Cape May counties. The Wind Training Center

The Wind Training Center will provide the GWO Basic Safety Training w/Sea Survival. Over five days, the training will provide 40 hours of instruction in five areas (First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights, and Sea Survival). The training program and supporting facility will be the first in the State and enable New Jersey to strengthen its leadership position in offshore wind energy. Atlantic Cape was awarded $2.9M for the 1,700 square ft. facility. The New Jersey Offshore Wind Safety Training Challenge is a grant program administered by the Office of the Secretary of Higher Education with the support of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority.
