Tutoring is available to all current Atlantic Cape students, free of charge. Atlantic Cape offers a variety of tutoring services. Nearly all subject areas are covered; hours and availability vary. On-campus tutoring is offered in designated spaces in the libraries. Tutoring is also available through virtual meetings, asynchronously by sending in papers for review, or by submitting subject-specific questions to tutoring staff.
In addition to our own in-house tutoring services, we offer a supplemental tutoring service which provides in-depth support. Live tutors are available 24 hours a day.
Some courses are assigned a designated tutor, accessible only to students enrolled in that course, through Blackboard.
Options for the different formats of tutoring services vary depending on a student’s individual needs and circumstances. Students should email tutoring@atlanticcape.edu for more information or to make a request for tutoring assistance.
